The position of HR Generalist/Safety Coordinator is responsible for assisting and supporting the Human Resources team as well as being the primary person responsible for all the safety efforts with employees and on all jobsites.
In additional this role will assist in recruiting, policy implementation and reporting of all safety requirements.
Job Duties:
Create Recruitment plan for all open positions, bringing potential candidates for interviews Conduct new hire orientation Assist in developing programs for employee engagement Conduct exit interviews for departing employees Draft and up any necessary HR documentation Maintain the compliance of the Company Safety Program Lead and organize the Company Safety Committee Perform jobsite visits documenting all required information Assist in workers compensation claims Investigate all work accidents, following all necessary processes Organize and maintain all employee trainings Skills/
Qualifications:
Commitment to the core values of integrity, excellence, innovation, collaboration, and passion Excellent verbal and written communication skills Problem solving and leadership skills Experience with HR and Safety required 3-5 years of related HR and recruitment experience preferred OSHA Certified preferred (will train if necessary) Attention to detail with strong organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
