Responsibilities:
Willow Valley is hiring a Nurse Practitioner I to be responsible to coordinate and supervise services provided in the wellness office and provides services that treat acute illness, promotes health maintenance, illness prevention, and maximizes wellness for successful aging.
The NP I promotes initiatives to enhance physical and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities:
Coordinates and directs services provided in the health and wellness office suite.
Provides acute and primary healthcare services to Residents.
Provides assessment and management of needed Resident healthcare services.
Coordinates health care services with the Residential Nursing team and primary care providers as appropriate.
Provides consultation with Residents regarding their healthcare, including their support team at their preference.
Coordinates education programs to promote health and wellness.
Maintains knowledge of current evidence-based practice through continuing education.
Provides education to Residents, Team Members, and other associates.
Serves as chairperson or co-chairperson of the Infection Control Committee Models exemplary customer service and the MORE values towards Team Members and Residents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Provides oversight of activities and directly supervises Team Members in the Nurse Practitioner's office.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
Master of Nursing degree in advanced nursing Certification from American Nurses Credentialing Center of American Association of Nurse Practitioners or PA Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner licenses.
Active or ability to obtain an active PA prescriptive authority and Diversion Enforcement Administration certificate.
Preferred 2 years experience in geriatric nursing care Schedule:
Day shift office hours with some flexibility Resident Nursing Team will triage after hour Resident needs Location:
